All You Need Is.... - Lay Out

Hey All,
Today's post is about love. Because right now this world could use more of it. What started out as a simple design has now become one of my favorite lay outs. One of my favorite colors is red. I love that red brings excitement. So all of you that love being in love, the love of your family or the love of life this post is dedicated to you.

Fish Jumping Out of Water - Lay Out

Hey All,
Today post is by Legacy Paper Art. I love the colors because they are so much fun to look at. I only did a slight modification. It was originally designed for 5 picture spaces. I decided to use 4 sizes.  I seem to be going through my page kits at a fast pace which is great. With this pace I made be able to get all my kits before end of summer just in time for the holidays. I know that may sound premature but I am going to try. TFL

Bee's Knees - Lay Out

Hey All,
This year I had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany Spaulding  co-developer of the amazing Scrap Rack system. We had a lengthy discussion of how scrap booking can be overwhelming and too many of us get caught up in all the fluff. Instead of sticking to the basics we should really focus on one project at a time (don't buy any product until it is necessary). Ain't that the truth? I felt so inspired. So I went home and spent a couple of weeks by taking my time purging and taking inventory of what I had (like most my biggest crime was having too much paper....LOL). After I reorganized I had a considerable amount of ready to assemble kits. Now I will be able to accomplish more in less time. Which brings me to this post.

This is a Legacy Paper Art kit. I love the bee die cuts so much.  I did however changed it up a bit to make it my own. I had to add some flair to fill in the gaps. I only use the bee die cuts and the background paper. The rest of the embellishments are from my stash. I added double oval matting and changed the size of the double square mats as well.

Life is Nothing.......Lay Out

Hi Everyone,
Although I was originally not a big fan of the color scheme I went another direction to make this layout  more to my liking. I want to thank Legacy Arts for the the title and sentiment. The original layout was suppose to have a variety of circles with various picture sizes. I changed that so that I would be able to use 4x6 size pictures and to highlight the individual letters. So with a slight modification voila....... a new look! TFL

Cricut Machine Cozies

Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone had a wonderful day. I want to share my dust covers that I made for my Cricut machines. I originally wanted to purchase them off the Internet but I opted out because of the availability and color patterns. Plus I wanted to practice sewing. Which I still find challenging because I am not coordinated.

I still love paper crafting more cause if cut something wrong you just embellish over it.......

Stinkin' Cute - Double, Double Lay out

Hello Everyone,

Here is my post for today. When I attended the Scrapbook Expo last year I saw a booth that had these fun and colorful lay outs. Although they were too animated for what I am use to. There were a couple double layouts that really caught my eye so much that I just burst into laughter as if someone just told me a joke (which in my head there was). Only because my husband and I have had these pet names for each other (like most). The lay outs reminded me of Pepe Le Pew the skunk and Penelope the cat.
As a pet name I call my husband  Pepe Le Pew (thats why I started laughing).  So over the years I have collected Pepe memorabilia to give to my hubby. Which he sometimes gets a kick out of only because he considers himself suave (not when he releases his scent.....hahahaha) romantic (which he so much is), and very funny.

So this post is dedicated to my husband Hao just for the simple fact you truly are my Pepe Le Pew. And to all that know us these layouts simply depicts us as a couple.

Thank you LegacyPaper Arts for designing the adorable layouts.

Well it looks like another gloomy day here in southern California. My hubby got his coffee and breakfast early and is now planted in front of the tube to finish watching the final round of the Masters (golf). That means some me time...yippie! I get to play without interruptions.

Late yesterday I went through all my picture files I realized that I am 2 years behind certain holiday pictures.  Since the months seem to be going by so fast I thought I would get a jump start on some 4th of July layouts. I love creating holiday layouts. They bring me back to the time of the event and just puts a big smile on my face.
