Tragic death hits my scrapbooking world!
Cuttlebug dies by hand of owner. And this is my story. On February 27, 2011 my precious friend laid to rest. In an attempt to show a fellow scrap booker how to use her Quickcutz die a painful cries is released out of my cuttlebug. In my disbelief I tried to revive her. There was not a tool in site that could save her. I stood there in shock and telling my friends she will be alright and it's was no big deal she's trooper. But deep down inside my heart was broken. She was broken. How could have let this happened.
I still remember the day I brought her home. We played every weekend together. Now that she has passed, I toss and turn sleepless nights wondering. Did I treat her as well as she has treated me? Did I give her the same unconditional love that she has given me day after day in my scrap room dungeon? Is this normal to feel this way? She was the Picasso of embossing, the articulate cutting of a samurai sword, and creator of such beauty like the fluttering hummingbird outside my window. Oh how I miss her!
Scrap bookers I ask how long will the sorry last? When will the grey clouds pass to bring on the rainbow?

Disappointment!
You know the saying that "you should always go with your gut feeling". Well I didn't. So now I have to live with disappointment of those who claim to be my friends. I will not bore you all with the details. Now I just have to find inner strength to let it go and not let it eat at me mentally, physically or spiritly.
I am off to create and possibly clear my thoughts!

"The Box"
Well I finally got the chance to start a special kit that I had purchase online. Here is a phase 1:
I know that it doesn't look like much but you wait and see what is to become of this box.

Spring Mini
This was my first recycle mini I ever made. The cover is made out of a cardboard box. The fibers were left over from my pre knitting days and the flower is hand made( which I try to make my own). Each page is left over scraps from layouts that I made for my niece. Enjoy!
Thanks Julie
I wanted share with my followers the fabulous items that I receive from one of my friends Julie.
Julie and I met through craigslist ad. How crazy was that? Well from time to time we get together to scrap (more like shop and go to lunch). Anyhow since Julie knows that my dream is to go to Paris some day she gave me these for my room. They are far more beautiful in person. Thanks again Jules!

I
I am so happy hubby is working at home because I get some computer time. I love when he works at home he litterally entertains me. So this past weekend I got a few surprises. We were suppose to be getting our stuff together for this upcoming community garage sale instead Hao decided to go to Newport Beach to buy some crab. Well that was a bust so he ended up at a yard sale (shocking). For those of you who don't know my husband loves yard sales or anything that he can get a bargain. At this yard sale he scored me some things that were scrapbook related (like I need more stuff). It turns out things he picked up I already had. So I believe in paying forward I set it aside for my niece who is just starting out in the scrapbooking world (she has no idea what she is getting into). But I did keep one of the items and here it is.
It is much bigger that it appears. Those who have been to my house know that I have a thing for organization and plastic...hehehehe. I know my husband says it's an illness.
If you like leave a comment. TFL

Love this idea
Hi all,
I wanted to share my latest and greatest goody that I had received. My friend Kristina made me this adorable one page mini with tags out of a paper bag. I appreciate the labor of love that she put into this project that I had to post it to my blog. She is definitely scrap worthy in my eyes. TFL

Sometimes it is about me!
Last year I was fortunate to attend my first scrapbooking retreat. I met alot of created women. Some of them I became friends with and keep in touch through the power of Facebook.
At the reteat you had an opportunity to win some great product by entering a home made creation. Needless the say I did not win. But I was very proud of what I had created.

The find of the day!
So this morning I had to do some errands and decided to stop by Joann's crafts( not that I needed anything) I could not believe that I found the Cricut storage boxes that hold 4 cartridges. I was so happy to find out that I was able to use my 50% off coupons. What normally would have cost me $10 a piece only cost me $5 a piece. Deal of the day my friends. Thanks Joann's
