I do not have wall art in my craft space. The only wall hanging I have is a beautiful burlap "Paris"memo board that I received from Lindamae's @ ( le Petit' Crop Shoppe) which is hanging on the front of my craft room door. And that is only because I am limited to wall space.
Well the other night I was in my room doing some purging and pulled out the DCWV - Colorful Life collection pad and glanced through all the pages and I thought I should do something with this paper. The colors are so vibrant and bold, very artsy.
So my wheels started turning. I went onto YouTube to seek some inspiration. Instead of watching mix media tutorials I ended up watching various scrap room/craft spaces. And the one thing that stood out was that everyone had various words i.e. inspire, create, dream, live, love and laugh throughout their spaces. I decided to create a little art piece using one of these words.
The word I picked was "dream" because it had so many hidden meanings.
My "dream" is made out of 1/8 chipboard and measures 9x21 in total. Each letter is connected by brads.
Products I used:
DCVW-Colorful Life
K&CO Susan Wright and Brenda Walton die cuts
